Employers, It's Time for Spring Cleaning!

My mother use to get us all geared up for spring cleaning in April. Everithing
had to be aired out, wiped down and washed off - the walls, the floors, the
furniture. We had to find every cobweb that had gathered during the winter.
I never really understood it. Why once a year? Why was this exercise such a
celebration? I thought it was rather dreadful.

Then when I had my own home I began to understand the concept of a
"new day". The fresh air of spring, and getting the cobwebs out of the coners.

In business as in your personal life, there are times when you need to
"clean house". We are often so painstakingly picky about the new hires, but we
are so blind to the "cobwebs" in the corners of our offices that are detracting
from the harmony and killing our bottom line.

The "cobwebs" are also blocking the doorways and actually hindering you from
attracting new and fresh "air" into your company.

The message here .... Look around: are there a few "cobwebs" in the office that
are holding you back from becoming the awesome company you were meant to
be? It's time to clean house!
